Multi-recipient cart example

This Send To Many demo page highlights the "cart mode" for multi-recipient checkout. The contents of a shopper's cart will display here, allowing them to add multiple recipients and mix and match products per recipient.

Link from the standard cart to allow shoppers to add multiple recipients to the same order.

Shopper features

  • select one or more products
  • add multiple recipients manually or with an upload
  • customize products, variants or quantities, card message, and shipping rate per recipient
  • see a running total of the cost
  • click to checkout to complete payment

Merchant features

  • offer a shipping/delivery date option with granular date availability
  • use calculated, free or flat rate shipping
  • customize the recipient data columns as needed
  • customize the look and feel of the block in the theme editor with built-in settings or via custom CSS

Setting up the multi-recipient cart

After installing Send To Many on the app store:

  1. In the app, go to Settings > Multi-recipient checkout to configure the checkout experience for your needs.
  2. Create a new page template in your theme. In the "Apps" section of the template, select "Multi Recipient Checkout".
  3. Customize the look and feel to fit your site.
  4. Add a page to your site using the new template and make it visible.
  5. Use the "Multi Checkout Button" app block to add a link to the page from your current cart or side drawer. The shoppers cart contents will display on this page, allowing them to add multiple recipients and mix and match products from their cart to the recipients.
